More people need to know about this book! The protagonist, who is also a real historical figure, is a crossdressing bisexual swordswoman and opera singer in 17th-18th Century France. Not only that, but it's well-written too. My review

A gritty and informative novel about some interesting women, but I guess 12-13th Century Mongolia is such an obscure setting that most people wouldn't know about this book.
